“A Magic Bullet?”

Appemine, the patented “special ingredient” found in most of the “Right Size” products, is an interesting mix.  It is basically an herbal mix (labeled like a pharmaceutical-grade drug) that is supposed to take away your hunger.

The Secret Sauce

At least for me, studying Appemine was kind of like finding out what Arby’s fry sauce is made of – “mayo and ketchup…that’s it?”

Luckily Appemine is not a mix of mayonnaise and ketchup, but it does have a very simple formula:

1.       Green Tea Extract

2.       Galangal

3.       Cinnamon

These ingredients are very common in the diet world.  The one you may not know about is galangal, also known as blue ginger.  Though it may help with diarrhea, there isn’t much evidence linking it to weight loss. There is no doubt that green tea and cinnamon can be good for helping to boost your metabolism, but there is very little to say that this mix deserves a special “patented” name.  I think it’s only to preserve the mystery.

For whatever reason, the company promotes Appemine as some sort of miracle replacement for ephedrine.  The truth is they have nothing to do with each other and the “research” provided on Appemine is not peer reviewed and has little basis for scientific acknowledgment.

That really depends on you, but given extensive experience in the diet world, I can tell you that this product is overly-hyped and is unlikely to deliver real results.  I don’t know about magic, but this definitely appears to be a “bullet” you should probably dodge. The good news is the prices on Right Size products aren’t unreasonable, but that depends on whether you expect results.
