be-Energized or be-Disappointed?

In the diet and health supplement industry, GNC is definitely one of the major players.   Often, however, we see that major players can let us down.  I mean, just think of the “major players” on Wall Street recently.  They weren’t exactly working for the best interests of the average investor.  That’s what this review is all about - making sure you know what you’re getting for your potential investment.  The investment in question here is GNC’s be-Energized, the “energy” offering in its new “be” line.

be-Energized Formula

• Caffeine- 200 mg
• Grape Seed Extract - 150 mg
• Green Tea - 95 mg
• Capsicum extract - 50 mg
• Trace ingredients - 10 mg

To be honest with you, this is not a bad formula, but doesn’t really spell value, but I’ll get to that later.  You are definitely going to get a buzz from the 200 mg of caffeine and some antioxidants from grape seed.  You’ll find more antioxidants in green tea and some natural metabolic boosting action from capsicum (red pepper).  This really isn’t too shabby and you can expect a decent energy boost.  But, as I said, you may be able to find better options in terms of…

be-Energized Product Value

GNC is asking a slightly steep $45 for this pill simply because it’s GNC.  I would love to tell you you’d be getting every dime out of this formula, but it just wouldn’t be the cased.  It’s not ridiculously overpriced, but it’s over priced.

be-Energized to Try?

As I said before, this is by no means a bad product in terms of ingredients, and you will definitely get a buzz from the amount of caffeine, but I can’t tell you it’s a great value.  I wouldn’t say it’s a top contender, but you can try it if the GNC is a comfort to you.
