One of the biggest stats that Leslie likes providing is that it is 408% more effective than a regular crunch. How could this be? Well, simply because it takes about four times as much energy to use the ball than to do a standard crunch. It’s kind of like if I said “Do FOUR crunches – It’s 400% more effective than doing just one!”

What Comes With the Bender Ball?

The Bender Ball comes with an abdominal workout video with is designed to show you how to use the ball properly. This is nice, but generally the exercises are pretty obvious. It doesn’t take more than a few minutes online to figure out how to use the ball. In any case, the whole package costs $21, including shipping. For a piece of exercise equipment, this is a really reasonable price. If you want to strengthen your core, the Bender Ball might be a great option. If you want to lose weight, however, you will not lose weight until you add cardiovascular exercise and dieting.

The Bender Ball is a very generic product that doesn’t offer any particularly clever solutions to weight loss. A rubber ball and a short workout video usually cost around $20.

However, if you order the Bender Ball, the company will automatically charge you $27 in another 30 days and send you more work out videos. If it weren’t for the auto-payment program, we might think that the Bender Ball is a good deal. Unfortunately, we have a hard time recommending any weight loss product that involves an auto-payment method. Because of this, we say that you should look elsewhere for your dieting product.
