CalmSlim

Slim up and Calm Down

For many women, weight issues can cause some desperation.  For others, even panic.  One of the main problems with dieting and weight loss is the emotional aspect, and CalmSlim attempts a holistic approach for women to a healthier and slimmer body.

The CalmSlim Claims

This particular product does its best to prove legitimacy, claiming to be developed by “highly experienced Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) experts and thoroughly tested in Australian laboratories.”

Newsflash: there is a reason why traditional Chinese medicine is different than “modern medicine” - it is usually only based on legend and not real science.  It is strange that though this is a US company, they had to get their studies done in Australia.

As well, they point out that the product “contains no caffeine or controversial weight loss ingredients”  There may not be caffeine, but check out the following ingredients:

  • Brindle Berry (Garcinia cambogia)
  • Nutritional Yeast (Chromium)
  • White Kidney Bean
  • Rubus Fruit (Blackberry)
  • Gymnema Sylvestre
  • Cassia Nomame
  • Green Tea

Though some of these ingredients have some evidence to mildly back up the claims of fat reduction (white kidney bean extract and green tea), the others simply are not clinically proven and as this product doesn’t even give us their concentrations, I can’t see how anyone is supposed to believe they will be potent in this case.

110% Guarantee?

The one unique thing about his product is its return policy.  It claims that you can return the product after 60 days and they’ll refund 100% of your money plus a 10% “gift”.  The details on this are very unclear but in my experience, things that seem “too good to be true” usually are.

CalmSlim worth a shot?

In addition to the fact that the ingredient list is generally weak in terms of weight loss power, I don’t really see anything here that addresses women’s health specifically.  Each bottle sells for $40, but there is just not enough reliable evidence and history behind CalmSlim to recommend it.

Why do consumers love Fenphedra? Because it really works. In fact, Fenphedra outperforms Apidexin in every category except safety and price. However, due to its powerful ingredients, Fenphedra is not for the average person looking to looking to lose a few pounds. Only consider it if you have 10, 20 or 30 plus pounds to lose.
