CarboCurb
The last 10 to 15 years have seemed to be the age of the Anti-Carb. We all know carbohydrates are good for us, but the problem for most people is over-eating and appetite control. Thus, products CarboCurb have made a killing by claiming to kill your appetite. However, not all products actually live up to the claims. What does CarboCurb offer to back up its claims?
CarboCurb Ingredients
I should say “ingredient” instead, because surprise surprise, there’s only ONE ingredient in this product. Turns out it’s a good one, but there is an important detail to discuss. Glucomannan, which is included in a 750 mg concentration, has been shown to be effective at absorbing water and expanding in your stomach to reduce appetite, but more commonly in concentrations of more than 1000 mg (1 g). This form of fiber doesn’t necessarily reduce your absorption of carbohydrates and as it’s the only ingredient here, you can’t expect too much as far as results.
CarboCurb Conclusion
The truth is, glucomannan is not a very expensive ingredient and is widely used as a thickener in industrial food processing. There is absolutely no way this product should be asking $57 for a bottle of it. Don’t be fooled by this product, it is very low on value.
