Editors' Top Pick
Do we ever rate a diet pill positively? Yes. Although it's rare, there are a few diet pills that meet our strict recommendation requirements. Why don't we recommend Dicana? We're looking for clinically proven ingredients, money back guarantees and low prices. Apidexin is our favorite. You can read our review or go to the official site.
Dicana
Naturally Ocurring Metabolic Regulator
Dicana, from ThermoLife International, is a diet supplement designed to cut fat while “sparing muscle tissue” – not that any diet pill actually would destroy muscle tissue. The company claims ever-so-boldly that there is “NOTHING in today’s marketplace that comes even remotely close to the powerful metabolic activity of Dicana.”
How bout them Ingredients?
I found, to my surprise that the following is the “powerful” formula to which they refer:
- 2 mg – “A proprietary combination of patent-pending diiodothyroacetic acid isomers.”
- 33 mg – coleus forskohlii
- 166 mg – ginger extract
Though coleus forskohlii contains forskolin, a vasodilator and metabolic booster, this is certainly not an important concentration and there is no way of telling how much forskolin you are getting. As for the 2 mg of “proprietary diidothyroacetic acid isomers” there is really no scientific information available on the stuff – not encouraging. Ginger is good for you, but by no means a “power” component for weight loss.
Dicana Side Effects
This product claims to cause no adverse side effects. I would venture to say it causes no effects at all.
Dicana Value and Conclusion
Though the Dicana bottle and packaging are quite attractive, neither they nor what’s inside is worth the $75 the company is asking. I am going really need to see some solid scientific evidence before I can recommend a product pulling stunts like this and for this price. I do not recommend Dicana.
