Melt Xtreme Fat Burner: Does it Live Up to the Hype?
In terms of hype, the only people out there celebrating Melt Xtreme are the folks at Lecheek Nutrition. Though the official website is otherwise worthless for finding information about Melt Xtreme, they do claim that it will “Melt the Fat”, “Destroy Hunger” and help you to “cut water weight.”
Literally, that’s all they say about it. So, given that we have nothing other than a few short phrases about Melt Xtreme, there isn’t a whole lot to live up to. Based on the ingredients in the formula, there is at least evidence to support the idea that it can work to help you burn some extra calories, lose water weight (by peeing more) and reducing your appetite a bit along the way.
How Does Melt Xtreme Fat Burner Work?
Weight loss is simple. Calories in must be less than the calories going out. As a diet supplement with stimulants in it, Melt Xtreme helps to stimulate your central nervous system to make your body burn more calories than usual at any given time. Stimulants also have the useful side effect of marginally reducing your appetite. Most diet supplements out there play on this dynamic to help you lose weight, but the potency and safety are the big points of difference between them. Melt Xtreme generally appears to be safe but based on the fact that its proprietary blend amounts to less than .75 grams, you’re not likely to get a lot of potency from its ingredients.
Lastly, Melt Xtreme contains herbal diuretics, which increase the rate at which your kidneys filter out liquid. This tends to get rid of excess water held in your skin and makes you urinate more frequently.
Melt Xtreme Fat Burner Side Effects
Aside from having to hit up the bathroom a little more frequently, the more serious side effects may be due to the caffeine, DMAA, and yohimbine in this diet supplement. While caffeine and DMAA are generally recognized as safe, you can still experience headache, nausea, insomnia, and elevated heart rate. Yohimbine has been associated with anxiety and even panic attacks, but the concentration here isn’t given so we can’t be sure of how much you might need to worry.
In any case, you shouldn’t take Melt Xtreme if you have any kidney, heart or liver problems.

For $50, Melt Xtreme isn’t really giving you a whole lot for a month’s worth. Probably the biggest indicator of value is the fact that the company offers no satisfaction guarantee. Even if you just decide to return a bottle unopened, you only get 10 days from the time of purchase to do it. It’s almost like they think they’re getting away with something by selling you this stuff. While it has a few ingredients that are known to contribute to weight loss, the concentrations aren’t clear and we are aware of many diet supplements out there that fare much better. We don’t recommend bothering with Melt Xtreme or other products by Lecheek Nutrition.
