Editors' Top Pick of 2012
Do we ever rate a diet pill positively? Yes. Although it's rare, there are a few diet pills that meet our strict recommendation requirements. Why don't we recommend Kre-a-Fem? We're looking for clinically proven ingredients, money back guarantees and low prices. Apidexin is our favorite. You can read our review or go to the official site.

Kre-a-fem
Curves in a Capsule?
Kre-a-fem, a diet supplement designed specificially for women, claims it is gaining the nickname “Curves in a Capsule” for helping to shape women’s bodies effectively. With too many “just-for-women” products there is little scientific basis and not a lot to impress, but I decided to check out Kre-a-fem to see if it really deserves the company’s self-placed nickname.
The Curve Factor
The main ingredient of interest here is apparently a form of creatine, long known for its ability to help your muscles work longer with less fatigue. This ingredient, known as “Kre-Alkalyn” is supposedly a ph-corrected form of creatine that doesn’t give you the side effect of bloating. The company offers no scientific explanation for how this works. The generally accepted side effect of creatine is that it does, in fact, cause increased water retention and muscle mass when used in conjunction with regular workouts, so if this product doesn’t do that, I would hesitate to say it actually contains creatine.
Aside from this, Kre-a-fem also contains:
- Calcium – 150 mg
- Black Cohosh Extract – 50 mg
- Soy Isoflavones Extract – 50 mg
- Magnesium – 40 mg
- Iron – 8 mg
- Coenzyme Q10 -2 mg
Calcium, magnesium, iron and soy isoflavones do not really separate this product from a cheap vitamin. Furthermore black cohosh is an herbal remedy intended to treat gynecological issues, but has not performed better than placebo in studies. Coenzyme Q10 taken as a supplement has also failed to yield conclusive results.
Kre-a-fem Conclusions
As this product only sells for as cheap as $17 for a 30-day supply, I can’t say the company is trying to scam you, but it really does offer very little explanation for its claims and doesn’t seem to merit a nick name like “curves in a bottle”. The truth is, you can’t fit the results you really want in a bottle. It takes more discipline and more potency than vitamins and a “patented form of creatine”. I can’t recommend Kre-a-fem as the best option for women’s weight loss and performance.
