In the fight to lose pounds, the biggest problem is metabolism – how fast your body burns calories. This system, unless you consider the products with a significant amount of caffeine, will not necessarily help you burn more calories. Looking through the various products, what I can tell you very certainly is that this company is asking too much money for what you get. For instance, for a box of 7 shake mixes, you’ll pay almost $16. That’s over $2 for very basic shakes which could be compared to less expensive generic brands. Across the board, Medifast is over-priced.
