Oxygenfit

Real Results for Women

Oxygenfit is a company that sells exercise products “specifically designed for women.”  It’s true that women have different bodies than men, but are there really exercises which specifically help women to better lose weight and get fit?

The Oxygenfit Line

  • Toning Loops (Circular elastic bands) – $16
  • Body Ball (Rubber exercise ball) – $26
  • Fit Stick (Plastic bar with longer elastic band attachments and door anchor) – $70
  • Toners (2 Elastic bands with two handles, varying resistances) – $18

Each of these products comes with an instructional/motivational DVD.  They also sell “packages” such as the most basic:

  • Body Plan Kit – Fit stick, door anchor, toner, body ball, air pump, and DVD – $95

The company sells other packages which basically include more of the same for as much as $240.  Now, don’t get me wrong, if you’re motivated enough to sit in your home or apartment tugging on elastic bands to try and lose weight then this isn’t a terrible product idea, but even so its way overpriced!

Oxygenfit for Everyone?

Getting back to the original question of whether or not this product would really be specifically helpful for women, I am beginning to doubt whether it would be generally helpful for anyone.  My experience with elastic bands is that they are difficult and awkward to use, lose their resistance easily, and do not help me keep motivated to exercise.  These products are very much over priced and simply do not provide a convincing strategy for fitness.  I do not recommend the Oxygenfit line.
