Editors' Top Pick
Do we ever rate a diet pill positively? Yes. Although it's rare, there are a few diet pills that meet our strict recommendation requirements. Why don't we recommend Phenolox? We're looking for clinically proven ingredients, money back guarantees and low prices. Apidexin is our favorite. You can read our review or go to the official site.

Phenolox
Phenolox and the Three Bears
The truth is, not all of us are the same. Those of us who are a bit overweight notice this fact all too often around skinnier friends, but there is a weight which is “just right” for us. So many diet products claim to get you to that weight or much thinner still, but few come through with the ingredients necessary to make it happen or at a price that is reasonable for those trying to cut costs as well as pounds (which in this economy is a lot of people).
So what does Phenolox have to offer, and can it get you that weight that’s “just right” for you?
The Phenolox Formula
The company claims the following formula is “dynamite” for your metabolism:
- Green Tea Extract – 1800 mg
- Advantra Z – 900 mg (54 mg citrus aurantium)
- Di Potassium Phosphate – 600 mg
- L-Carnitine – 510 mg
- L-Phenylalanine – 300 mg
- Cayenne Pepper Extract – 300 mg
- Coleus Forskohlii – 270 mg
- Yohimbe – 5.4 mg
- Chromium Picolinate – 750 mcg
There may be some truth in the “dynamite statement” but not in the statement the company makes about this being the ultimate option for those sensitive to stimulants. It does in fact contain synephrine, which is a stimulant and common substitute for ephedrine. Apparently the green tea is de-caffeinated, which means it still will have a good amount of antioxidants but doesn’t do as much for your metabolism.
Ingredients like cayenne and carnitine generally very good for boosting metabolism and helping you burn more calories, but the truth is that phenylalanine, yohimbe, and dipotassium phosphate have very little to do with weight loss or increased metabolism. So this product is about half on target.
Phenolox Pros
- 30-day money-back guarantee
- Lists all ingredients and concentrations
Phenolox Cons
- Doesn’t contain any ingredients to really “dynamite” your metabolism
- Slightly over-priced at $52 given the ingredients.
- Not enough “kick” even for a de-caf product.
The Bottom Line
In my expert opinion (and believe me, I’ve been in the market for a while) this product does not try hard enough for the price and doesn’t provide a consistent formula for weight loss.
