Like so many of us, I have been curious for some time now as to what formula in weight loss delivers the greatest results and overall health benefits. The problem has been wading through the hundreds of different products to find one that doesn’t exist just to sell itself, but to really make a different. What follows is my analysis of Thermolean, from PRO Rx Labs.
Thermolean Ingredients
This product is intended to be taken two pills at a time and no more than 6 pills per day. Each pill contains a 256 gram “proprietary blend” (they don’t disclose the percentage of each ingredient included) of the following:
- Synephrine
- L-Tyrosine
- Chromium
- Yohimbine
- Guggulsterones
- Green Tea
- Caffeine
- Bioperine
The Effects
This would be a pretty good formula if I could count on the right concentrations of caffeine, synephrine, and green tea, which would provide a boost to your metabolism and some good antioxidants. The product even claims this will boost your metabolism but will not cause jitters. At the same time they forbid taking more than 6 in a day, which means the caffeine is significant enough to give you jitters.
In any case, guggulsterones are probably included to lower cholesterol, though they have not proven medically to do so. The inclusion of tyrosine is common in diet pills and is oddly enough used medically to help break caffeine and other stimulant addictions. The real players in this mix are the first three mentioned, but the product fails to tell us how much you are getting.
Thermolean Verdict
Is this product effective? Well, in the sense of boosting your metabolism? Yes. But there are products that are more forth-coming about their ingredients, include healthier alternatives to metabolism increase, and are a better value than the $40 per bottle that this product is asking. This is not a bad product, just not the best.
