Editors' Top Pick of 2012
Do we ever rate a diet pill positively? Yes. Although it's rare, there are a few diet pills that meet our strict recommendation requirements. Why don't we recommend Purisalv? We're looking for clinically proven ingredients, money back guarantees and low prices. Apidexin is our favorite. You can read our review or go to the official site.
Purisalv: Does it Live Up to the Hype?
I don’t think anything on earth could live up to the hype surrounding this most recent flavor of the month. Purisalv is made entirely of Chia seeds. You may be asking what in the world Chia seeds are. That’s a valid question and more on that in a minute. They are supposed to cure basically everything and are apparently the healthiest thing you can eat. Supposedly, these seeds can rejuvenate the skin, improve digestion, reduce joint inflammation and promote a healthier overall state of being. As if that weren’t enough, Chia seeds can build lean muscle mass, reduce cholesterol, and reduce food cravings. The Chia seeds in Purisalv are reported to have more antioxidants than blueberries, more omega fatty acids than salmon, and more nutrients than other “superfoods” out there. And a partridge in a pear tree.
How Does Purisalv Work?
Purisalv is a bottle of these tiny grey Chia seeds. You can sprinkle them on your food like a garnish or incorporate them into a recipe. That’s about it, the little guys go to work after that suppressing hunger, pumping your system full of good fatty acids that can free up fat to be burned as energy and providing mass quantities of antioxidants to fight off free radicals.
If it sounds a little vague it’s because the use of Chia seeds as a diet supplement for fat loss has not been proven. There have been no links made to the health benefits of Chia seeds and weight loss of any kind.
Purisalv Side Effects
You are pretty safe here. If you are allergic to Chia seeds then you should obviously avoid Purisalv but the side effects should be few and far between. Users of Purisalv sometimes experience minor upset stomach but anything like hives or a rash is likely an allergic reaction and not a side effect.
Purisalv Ingredient Highlights
If you haven’t figured it out yet, there isn’t anything in Purisalv besides Chia seeds. The claims about the benefits of this herb are not completely false. These tiny seed really do pack a healthy punch. They are a good source of fatty acids, antioxidants and of course fiber. Unfortunately that’s where the claims and reality part ways. While antioxidants can inprove skin health, there is no evidence linking Chia seeds to significant improvement in skin health. Omega 3 fatty acids are also healthy but there have been no links made between Chia seeds and improved weight loss.
Should You Try Pure Purisalv?
These little seeds aren’t a bad thing and Purisalv isn’t a bad product, but it just isn’t worth the money if you are looking for a good diet supplement. Luckily there are plenty of other options that are more science than folk medicine. If these seeds were included with some proven fat burning ingredients it might make a good diet pill but I’m not here to give you business ideas, I’m here to review diet pills and this one isn’t the best.
