Renewtrient
Clever Name, Clever Results?
Renewtrient, a semi-controversial sleep aid and diet supplement, has got to have the cheapest and sketchiest looking websites I’ve ever seen. Further research has indicated that the product may or may not be illegal in California (and elsewhere) though the “official website” indicates otherwise. It took me a while to figure out what the product actually had to offer. It is e
Renewtrient Formula
The company describes the product as having a “unique proprietary blend of neutraceuticals and herbs in a passion flower/USP pharmaceutical-grade grain alcohol base.”
What does that mean?
Though the company doesn’t indicate it, the main ingredient here is Gamma Butyl Lactone. This is a precursor to gamma hydroxylbutyrate (GHB), which is a chemical sometimes used in controlled circumstances to aid sleep, and in other circumstances as a date rape drub. Sounds great….NOT. The real reason it might interest you is that it was once marketed to bodybuilders as a way to stimulate the human growth hormone, which clearly doesn’t address any weight-loss issue. The official website probably doesn’t mention anything about this because they assume gamma butyl lactone is not regulated even though GHB currently is.
Renewtrient Health Risks
There are some serious risks associated with use of this kind of product including nausea, vomiting, severe respiratory problems, seizures and coma.
Renewtrient Conclusion
There is really nothing about this product that I would ever recommend. It is also asking an insane price of $99. Don’t even think twice about this.
