Editors' Top Pick of 2012
Do we ever rate a diet pill positively? Yes. Although it's rare, there are a few diet pills that meet our strict recommendation requirements. Why don't we recommend Slim Chews? We're looking for clinically proven ingredients, money back guarantees and low prices. Apidexin is our favorite. You can read our review or go to the official site.

Slim Chews
Can you chew off the fat?
Many have heard of “chewing the fat” – another way of saying “to shoot the breeze”. Wouldn’t it be nice to get thinner as you chomp on a taste fruit-flavored chew? So many diet products try to gear their marketing towards people who aren’t willing to put forth the real effort of a legitimate diet and exercise program. This one claims that by using it you’ll benefit from
- Lower calorie intake
- Burning excess fat
- Increased energy
- Long-term weight loss
The Slim Chew Formula
I was rather disappointed by looking at the ingredients…but how much can you really pack into little chew? Each one contains
- Sugar Alcohol (artificial sweetener) – 8 g
- Proprietary Blend – 700 mg – containing hoodia gordonii and cha de bugre.
For those of you who don’t know, hoodia gordnonii is one of the most hyped-up diet ingredients ever. It is meant to reduce appetite – which it may do to some degree – but it has not been proven in any peer-reviewed clinical trials to significantly aid weight-loss.
Cha de bugre is a brazilian fruit that is known to contains caffeine. It is also over-hyped, but yes caffeine will get you buzzed.
Match up to the Claims?
- From the caffeine – yes it could increase energy and burn a little more fat by stimulating your metabolism.
- From the hoodia – there isn’t enough evidence to say it could actually reduce your appetite enough for you to lower calorie intake and definitely not to see “long-term weight loss”
50% is a failing score.
Slim Chew Summary
Basically, this product is over-hyped pure and simple. The company only offers it as a “free” trial as well, which automatically enrolls you in an auto-ship program. So, unless you can somehow prove it works for you in less than 15 days (impossible) then you’re looking at a $44 charge on your credit card as well as further charges for more shipments. I do not recommend Slim Chews.
