Editors' Top Pick of 2012

Do we ever rate a diet pill positively? Yes. Although it's rare, there are a few diet pills that meet our strict recommendation requirements. Why don't we recommend Solo Slim (SoloSlim)? We're looking for clinically proven ingredients, money back guarantees and low prices. Apidexin is our favorite. You can read our review or go to the official site.

What is Solo Slim?

Solo Slim is a dietary product made up of all natural ingredients which work to curb the appetite and work toward the reduction of weight gain. One of Solo Slim’s main points of sale is that it is to be taken only once daily, and with the busy schedule of todays society – who has time to worry about weight loss anyway?

What is Solo Slim Lacking?

If you ever come across a weight loss product which promises miracles without the combination of diet and exercise – you can know something is fishy. Solo Slim is marketed as a “once a day, all natural, vegetarian, dietary solution,” yet fails to mention any important information regarding the actual foods you consume and the way your body works to dispense them.

Solo Slim Ingredients

The “all-natural” ingredients which make up Solo Slime are: Konjac Glucomannan, Lotus Leaf Flavonoids & Alkaloids, Fucoxanthin, Citrus Aurantium Synephrine, Hawthorne Hyperosides, L–Carnitine Tartrate, and Decaffinated Green Tea.

One ingredient which has proved effective is Green Tea, due to its stimulating properties. Solo Slim uses a decaffeinated version which is void of any extra energy boost.

Solo Slim Conclusion

As the trends in what people eat have escalated toward the ‘fat’ end of the spectrum, body weight has subsequently escalated as well. It is not possible to lose weight by simply taking a pill. Sure, there are super weight loss aids available (keep reading to find out more) but Solo Slim is trying to make you believe you can take the easy way out – eating what you want, and miraculously passing the carbs straight through.

  • IT WORKS!!

I have tried several types of diet pills over the years, which all failed to work for me. I am a 34yr old mother of 2. I wanted to lose about 25lbs. My eyebrow technician is the one who steered me to this product. The girls in the salon were all on Solo Slim and she said that EVERYONE had lost an avg of 12 lbs that 1st month on Solo Slim. I was skeptical of buying yet another bottle of pills but I gave it a try…why not? Anyhow, IT WORKS! In 30 days I have lost 10lbs. I didn’t diet, excercise or change my previous habits…it just came off!!! The only “side effect I have noticed is the dry mouth, but the dry mouth encourages me to drink LOTS of water, which we are supposed to do anyhow. Friends & Family have noticed the weight loss on me and I have turned them onto Solo Slim…one friend lost 10lbs in 1 week (but she has combined the pills with the Medifast product). I highly recommend this product!!!!!

Please somebody tell me what to do with Solo Slim. I have finished 2 bottles of Solo Slim and did not lose but 4 pounds. I weigh 240 pds. I have heard great reviews about this product, but it did not work for me. I did exercise some. I drank lots of water.

  • Laura

I have been taking Solo Slim for 3 months and lost 30lbs. It has worked great for me. I will say that I would highly encourage folks to go on a specific diet that might work well for you such as weight watchers, low carb diet, etc.. If you have tried one and it worked but not too well then try it again on this pill. It worked for me. Many of my family and friends have tried Solo Slim. Some have had great success and others have had side effects. So I guess it works from some but not others. I however would give it a very high rating. I have 30lbs more to lose and know that while on Solo Slim I will lose it.

  • Nikki

I have been taking it for two weeks and have lost 10lb. This is in addition to the 20lb I lost over the two prior months.

My experience: Pretty good so far. I am eating right and exercising as much as 3x/week. Primary side effects are dry mouth and slight headaches. Also, beginning the second week, I had to set a timer to remind myself to eat. One day last week I saw orange urine and that kinda freaked me out since I am really working hard to drink lots of water.

Decision: I am going to take a week off, and see what happens. After reading a lot of postings here it has helped me to see that those of us who need to lose weight are often suffering from so many other issues, that I have to keep before me that my ultimate goal is to be HEALTHY not just thin. I’ll take the next week to visit a doctor to check my blood pressure and heart rate (I have a heart murmur and the headaches might be my blood pressure) and I’ll talk to by Dr. about continuing just to be on the safe side.

I might just go to every other day or 1/2 a pill per day to keep my body guessing.

I’m 44 and have never been over weight. I’ve always been able to eat what I want, that being said… I’m now in peri-menopause fun fun…. needless to say things are a little different. I’m still not overweight per say, but I weigh a good 10lbs more than my normal. I’m 5′ and 111 my normal weight has always been anywhere from 98 to 102, I feel best @ 102. Will solo slim work for someone like me who doesn’t need to lose a lot of weight and is still within a normal weight range, but just prefers being a bit thinner?

  • Yolanda

I am 43 soon 44 I find Solo to be a great product that works. I am glad this product is out and also able to help so many of us. At my age yes I need to go to the gym and eat all the right foods but that may not happen all the time because I am just not that faithful. I even went so far as to talk to my physican about my wieght and of course it was excercise and 1600 calorie diet. Boy was I hot! because I was 1lb from overweight. I felted she could had help me… many times they help who they want to help. I would be sadden if they took this product off the market…. because it works I have seen a decrease in my weight of 18lbs in the last two months. I could have lost more but the choices we sometimes makes, makes a difference in what we can achieve. Even with eating at some fast food places I still lost 18lbs would not lost that much at the gym in 2 months. This month in july I am going to get serious about the tpe of foods I eat and workout. I want to look good and healthy… It is true about solo you can eat anything and not workout and still loose weight I am living proof of it. One of the the things I founded out was there was a big decrease in my intake for food. But what I like best about this product that it didnt allow me to skip eating all day but instead I knew I was hungry and I could eat but not over eat to me this is a great thing because my eyes is bigger than my stomach.

  • Linda Smith

I love Solo Slim. I lost 13 pounds the first month and got to my desired weight with less than 2 bottles. With my first pill, I lost the desire for sweets and that is what I love about it. I feel good and only desire to eat healthy foods. I miss being able to purchase it. I hope it will come back.

  • shannon henderson

Please help! I love solo slim but because of the stupid FDA wanting to make money we loose a product that works! Does anyone out there know where we can still buy soloslim?

  • Susan

My husband and I have been taking Solo Slim for about 6 months and have had no side affects from it. We have both lost weight and are very pleased with our results. I hope it will be put back on the market soon. People need to realize that some medications do not work the same on everyone.

  • Heidi

The old Soloslim worked!!!!!! I started taking it on Dec. 5th 2009 and by July 2010 I had lost 48 pounds. It was wonderful. No side effects. When it was taken off the market I was devastated. The new Soloslim Advanced it not the same. It sad to see that a product that worked has been taken off the market especially when so many people suffer from obesity.

  • Nancy McCarthy

I have used the old Soloslim for months. I have recommended it
to everyone I know. I just finished my first bottle of the
new formula and I will never buy it again nor will anyone I
know. PLEASE bring back the old formula, me and all my friends
will be back when the old formula is back.

  • Arianna Lamosa

In November 2009, I had an AVIB because of this pill. These pills are very dangerous because they increase your heart rate. That is why you are not hungry. Please keep away from it. The pill did work but the side affect was not worth it. I ready from the last couple of postings and I am glad it has been taken off the market.

  • me

I have lost about 40 pounds on this, don’t change my diet, and then gain all of the weight back. So, unless you plan on actually exercising and completely changing your diet, plan on gaining the weight back.

  • Annette808

Nancy I am exacting where you are. I am actually trying to get as much as I can from the web to see where and how I can get the old Solo back. I never ever felt the symtoms that others have and lost so much weight that I would have never been able to had I done it with excersice and eating right. There must be a way to bring this pill back on the market. There are so many other drugs out there that are so much worse and you can tell they are worse cause from the first second you take them they feel horrible in your stomach, then followed up with incredible uncontrolable headaches. I never got any headaches or anything and lost the weight over a normal perid of time. I just dont get it. If anyone out there has been able to get the old solo, please let me know annette808@gmail.com
